چکیده
We study the melting of long-range antiferromagnetic order in Hubbard model after an interaction quench, using non-equilibrium dynamical mean-field theory. From previous studies, system is known to quickly relax into a prethermal symmetry-broken state. Using convergent truncation memory integrals Kadanoff Baym equations, we unravel subsequent relaxation dynamics this state over several orders magnitude time. At long times, can be characterized by single slow variable which related conduction band population. The does not follow paradigmatic steady pre-thermal states: It highly nonlinear, with pronounced speedup once gap falls below certain value. This behavior indicates that non-thermal self-stabilized on some timescale. reproduced simple Fermi's golden rule estimate for evolution

Haldane energy gap of a doped linear-chain Heisenberg antiferromagnet.
Using the valence-bond-solid (VBS) approach and the Schwinger boson mean field approximation, we study the dependence of the Haldane gap of a spin-1 linear chain Heisenberg antiferromagnet on impurity doping with different spins. The impurity spins affect the singlet pairing order parameter ∆ and the constraint factor λ. As a result, the Haldane gap is reduced by a factor ∼ n 2/3 i , with ni as...
متن کاملMagnetic-Field Induced Gap in One-Dimensional Antiferromagnet KCuGaF6
Magnetic susceptibility and specific heat measurements in magnetic fields were performed on an S = 1/2 one-dimensional antiferromagnet KCuGaF6. Exchange interaction was evaluated as J/kB ≃ 100 K. However, no magnetic ordering was observed down to 0.46 K. It was found that an applied magnetic field induces a staggered magnetic susceptibility obeying the Curie law and an excitation gap, both of w...
متن کاملThe Fundamental Gap and One-Dimensional Collapse
This equation arises from physics by separating the time and space variables in the wave equation, and the eigenvalues correspond to the frequencies of standing waves on Ω. The set of all eigenvalues is known as the spectrum. Based on the physical interpretation Marc Kac posed the now well-known question, “Can one hear the shape of a drum?” [21]. The mathematical formulation is: if two Euclidea...
متن کاملCollapse of the coherence gap in Kondo semiconductors
Kondo semiconductors exhibit a gap in their low-temperature excitation spectra, and can be modeled by the Anderson lattice model at half filling which shows a hybridization gap. The mixed-valent Kondo semiconductor SmB6 also shows in-gap magnetic excitations that exhibit the temperature dependence and dispersion that are expected from magnetic excitons. The gaps measured in the Kondo semiconduc...
متن کاملInelastic collapse and near-wall localization of randomly accelerated particles.
Inelastic collapse of stochastic trajectories of a randomly accelerated particle moving in half-space z>0 has been discovered by McKean [J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 2, 227 (1963)] and then independently rediscovered by Cornell et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 81, 1142 (1998)PRLTAO0031-900710.1103/PhysRevLett.81.1142]. The essence of this phenomenon is that the particle arrives at the wall at z=0 with zero vel...
